By accessing or using the Legacy Protection Services website, requesting a quotation, or engaging our security services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our website or services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client", "User", "You") and Legacy Protection Services ("Company", "We", "Us", "Our").

Legacy Protection Services provides professional security solutions including but not limited to:

• VIP and Executive Protection
• Armed Response and Rapid Intervention
• Physical Security and Manned Guarding
• Electronic Security and Surveillance Systems
• Event Security and Crowd Management
• Maritime and Remote Asset Protection
• Security Consulting and Risk Assessment

Specific services, deliverables, and pricing will be detailed in individual service agreements, quotations, or proposals provided to clients.

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the website.

You may not:

• Use the website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems
• Use any automated system, including robots or scrapers, to access the website
• Interfere with or disrupt the website or its servers
• Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful material

All quotations and proposals provided by Legacy Protection Services are:

• Valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated
• Subject to availability of personnel and resources
• Based on the information provided by the client at the time of the quote
• Non-binding until accepted in writing by both parties

Legacy Protection Services reserves the right to revise or withdraw a quotation at any time before acceptance, particularly if there are changes in scope, requirements, or external factors affecting service delivery.

Payment terms are as specified in individual service agreements or quotations. Standard terms include:

• A deposit may be required before services commence
• Invoices are payable within 15 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed
• Late payments may incur interest at 2% per month or the maximum legal rate
• All fees are exclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) or other applicable taxes
• Client is responsible for any bank charges or transaction fees

We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts until payment is received.

Cancellation by Client:

• Written notice of cancellation is required at least 14 days before scheduled services
• Cancellation fees may apply based on resources already committed
• Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made within 7 days of service commencement

Cancellation by Legacy Protection Services:

• We reserve the right to cancel services due to safety concerns, non-payment, or breach of terms
• Refunds for prepaid services will be calculated on a pro-rata basis
• We are not liable for indirect losses resulting from service cancellation

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:

• Legacy Protection Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim
• We are not responsible for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
• We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Legacy Protection Services, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of:

• Your use of our website or services in violation of these terms
• Your breach of applicable laws or regulations
• Your negligent acts or omissions
• Any dispute between you and third parties relating to our services

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and documentation, is the property of Legacy Protection Services or its licensors and is protected by South African and international copyright laws.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without written permission
• Use our trademarks, logos, or trade names without prior written consent

Any unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

You acknowledge and agree that Legacy Protection Services shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any third-party websites.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.

By using our website or services, you consent to the processing of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to or use of our website or services shall be instituted in a competent court in Pretoria, South Africa. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection based on improper venue or forum non conveniens.

In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or our services, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiations before pursuing formal legal action.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations within 30 days, the parties may proceed to mediation or arbitration as mutually agreed. Any unresolved disputes shall be finally settled by the courts of South Africa.

This section does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a competent court.

Legacy Protection Services reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before new terms take effect.

By continuing to access or use our website or services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using our website and services.
